The year 2019 has been a blessing for many aspirants. Many prelims exam like EPFO Assistant, EPFO SSA, LIC Assistant Prelims and IBPS PO Prelims has been conducted and their main exam is queued to be held in the upcoming days. Although LIC Assistant mains exam dates are yet to be announced but it can be presumed to be held soon. November is going to be a month where thousands of students will accomplish their dreams in order to get a government job. Mains is the last stage if there is no interview, and if the respective exam is followed by the final interview round then you are very close to your dream job if you manage to clear the mains examination. Now students must be anxious to know, with so many mains exam lined up ahead, how they can manage their preparation to target all of them (If appearing for all, or more than one). How should they plan their time table to score maximum in the mains examination

Difference and Similarities in the exam pattern

Although no time or only one day is left for the EPFO Assistant Mains, aspirants going to appear for it must check the last minute tips to ace in the exam. Before we dive into the preparing process for the mains exam, we should know about the similarities between these. This will help you ease your preparation and you will be able to manage your study plan and time efficiently.

If we go through the examination pattern of the mentioned exam, there is no difference in the exam pattern of all except that of the subject name. Every exam is followed by a descriptive test but LIC Assistant Mains exam is free from it also there is an additional subject i.e Hindi Language in the LIC Assistant exam which is an added advantage for those who fear English. But they however have to attempt English section also as a compulsory subject.

If you are appearing for LIC Assistant Mains, you will have to put some extra effort due to few changes in the subjects but the fact can not be denied that most of the part is similar to other exams.

Tips on how to plan your preparation for upcoming mains exam together

When it comes to preparing for Bank/Insurance mains exam one has to be very strict with his strategy and study plans that he has made. It is important to feed your concentration to boost up your knowledge. Remember speed, accuracy and time are the main factor to clear the mains examination. How you can attain all of the three mentioned? PRACTICE..!

Talking about the Reasoning Ability section, Puzzle and Seating Arrangement requires much of your attention and practice as they would carry the maximum weightage in the exam. This part would be asked in all the above mentioned exam hence your focus should be to clear the topic, which will benefit you in all four. Rest of the topics like, input-output, Syllogism etc should also be given preference.

Moving to Quantitative Aptitude section, which is common to all the aforementioned exam can be your saviour if you are very good at solving complex and tricky equation. In this section maximum weightage is given to the Data Interpretation And Analysis which may or may not be based on the miscellaneous topics like profit and loss, boat and stream, compound and simple interest etc. Thus if you have practiced even the complex questions in the miscellaneous part then DI would be no nightmare for you.

English Section is the one where some students fear the most due to its raising bar with each examination passed. Now a days, banking has raised the difficulty level of the section but nothing is impossible to achieve. If you practiced with firm determination you can easily score good marks in it. Questions asked and topics covered under this section are similar for every banking examination hence you can easily prepare for each exam together with ease.

Moving on to General Awareness section, it either can be your best or worst part in the exam if you have not paid any attention to it from the begining. Well, current affairs of last 4-6 months are being asked in almost every exam. If you have a habit of learning CA part on daily basis, you are prepared for all the four exam simultaneously. Besides preparing CA, one should also prepare banking awareness, financial awareness (for Insurance exam) from the date when you start your preparation for it.

Also prepare for the descriptive part, for the mains examination. LIC aspirants have the advantage of having no descriptive in the exam.
