FACTORS WHICH DETERMINE PENSION CALCULATIONS
1. Net qualifying service
2. Average emoluments for 10 months prior to the date of retirement upto 30.6.1996 or pay last drawn whichever is advantageous. From 1.7.1996 onwards pay last drawn is taken into account for the calculation of pension.
3. Pay last drawn + Grade Pay and Dearness allowance for the purpose of DCRG
4. Age next birth day and annuity value in the commutation table for commutation
5. 30 % of Pay + Grade Pay last drawn is taken for calculation of Family Pension
